Dr. Catherine DiNicola is a proud South Carolina native, born and raised in Mt. Pleasant. She earned her undergraduate degree from Clemson University (go Tigers!) before heading to pursue her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University.
Dr. DiNicola has a special passion for internal medicine, with a soft spot for her feline patients. Whether treating a playful kitten or a loyal senior pup, she believes in building strong, trusting relationships with both her patients and their people. Her approach to veterinary care is deeply personalized—she’s committed to crafting treatment plans that fit each pet’s unique needs and their family’s lifestyle.
At home, Dr. DiNicola is happily outnumbered by animals. She’s the proud pet parent of Bae Bae, a “foster fail” Morkie who stole her heart, a herd of opinionated cats, and a mischievous kitten named Pancake.
Dr. DiNicola brings a warm smile and a positive spirit to every appointment, and she’s excited to care for the pets and families of River Oaks Animal Hospital.
