Pet Education Project
In 2018, we will launch an exciting new outreach program called the Pet Education Project, also known as PEP. With PEP we will teach the core responsibilities of pet ownership and strive to foster humane habits in children and citizens of our community in order to reduce pet overpopulation, abuse, neglect, and euthanasia. Our goal is to go out into the community through school talks, festival visits, and anywhere that anyone will listen to us and educate! Our focus is on animal safety, spaying and neutering, heart worm prevention, animal shelters, choosing the right breed, training, pet adoption, veterinary care, and more. Our hope is to engage the community, in particular children, in a fun and exciting way. Check out ilovepep.org and let us know if you would like for us to come talk to your organization.
